La actriz Vanesa Hudgens y el actor Taylor Lauther serían los presentadores de los próximos Teen Choice Awards 2009 donde se premia a lo mejor del año en cine, música, deportes y televisión, todos los ganadores son escogidos de acuerdo a la votación del público comprendido entre los 10 a 20 años de edad. El evento se realizará el 10 de agosto y la cadena FOX se encargará de la transmisión.

Como se sabe todos aquellos que destacaron se llevan como premio a casa una tabla de surf. Este año los nominadas y preferidos por el público son Miles Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Sacha Cohen, Ashley Tisdale y Megan Fox.
